Supporting the Opening of Museum Historias y Memorias Mazatecas: Preserving Mazatecas Cultural Heritage

In Huatulco de Jiménez, Oaxaca, we supported the opening of the Museum Historias y Memorias Mazatecas —a project born from a Mazatec family’s commitment to preserving and celebrating their cultural heritage.

Led by Inti García Flores and his family, with the support of Paul Stamets, Giuliana Furci, and Fungi Foundation, the museum safeguards the HMM archive, which contains one of the most comprehensive collections of Mazatec records, textiles, historical artifacts, films, and sound recordings.

Located in the heart of Hautla, the museum continues to grow through collective dedication. We invite you to visit and support its work.
