Harvesting, Cooking, and Sharing: A Chinampa Project in Xochimilco

In partnership with Colaboratory Kitchen

We supported the project Cocina Lacustre de lo Invisible in San Gregorio Atlapulco, Xochimilco. The gathering brought together women, children, and adults around the communal hearth to harvest, cook and share food grown in the chinampa, acknowledging the connection between territory, memory, and food systems.

Through collective cooking, conversations emerged around water stewardship, landscape transformation, and the continuity of chinampa knowledge.
