Vuelta Sur Foundation is dedicated to collaborating with cultural institutions, and community-based organizations to develop educational workshops and programs that preserve the artistic and cultural heritage of Mexico. Through these partnerships, the foundation creates opportunities for youth, artists, and communities to engage with traditional knowledge, artistic practices, and cultural history.

The foundation is committed to developing and supporting educational initiatives rooted in Mexican art, culture, and history. Through these programs, Vuelta Sur Foundation creates meaningful learning opportunities while cultivating partnerships with organizations that share a dedication to cultural preservation, education, and community engagement.

A central aspect of our work is collaboration with leading cultural institutions and community-based organizations across Mexico, including Arte Pro, LagoAlgo, Museo Anahuacalli, Kora Community Center, Cosa Buena, Cocina Colaboratorio, and Casa Gallina. In partnership with these organizations, Vuelta Sur designs and facilitates workshops and educational preservation and transmission of traditional artistic techniques that embody Mexico’s cultural heritage.

Our initiatives are guided by four fundamental pillars: Arts, Culture, Local Wisdom, and Community Outreach. Though these areas of focus, we nurture creativity in young participants, while fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of the cultural traditions, knowledge systems, and natural environments that shape their communities.

Scholarship Program

As part of its long-term commitment to supporting the next generation of artists. Vuelta Sur Foundation is developing a scholarship program designed to expand access to arts education for talented young individuals who may face financial barriers to pursuing formal artistic training.

The program will provide financial support to emerging artists who have been accepted into accredited art schools in Mexico. Applicants will be invited to submit a portafolio of their work along with proof of admission to their chosen institution. Through a selective process, the foundation will identify candidates who demonstrate artistic potential, dedication to their craft, and a commitment to contributing to the cultural landscape of their communities.

Scholarship support may assist with a range of educational expenses through the students academic journey, including tuition, materials, and other essential costs associated with their studies. By investing in the education and development of young artists, Vuelta Sur Foundation seeks to nurture creative talent while strengthening the continuity and evolution of Mexico’s artistic and cultural traditions.
